Lloret de Mar

Historically, Lloret de Mar dates back to the III and II centuries BC. Throughout the years, Lloret de Mar has managed to conserve its personality, marks of identity and tradition, despite being a tourist, dynamic and modern town, keeping its personality, sense of identity and tradition that only Lloret de Mar can show.

Lloret de Mar is situated south on the Costa Brava, 60 km from Barcelona. Lloret de Mar has five main beaches, with a total of 7 km of coastline. The European Union has awarded all the beaches of Lloret de Mar with the blue flag, which guarantees an optimal state of both water quality and sand, and the services.

From the vast tourism which Lloret de Mar has to offer, it can also add its culture, the  Costa Brava countryside,  it’s diverse architecture, “the ronda walk”  that will take you walking along all the Costa Brava, and the two Iberian settlements, constitute a global offer to satisfy the diverse demands.

Lloret de Mar is considered one of the resort towns with more sports facilities, greater range of shops, leisure and gastronomy of the Costa Brava.

Within a 100 km radius from Lloret de Mar you can visit all the Costa Brava, Barcelona, Girona, Figueres (the Salvador Dali museum) and Montserrat. Lloret de Mar bus terminal provides daily bus services to Barcelona, Girona, as well as other regions on the Costa Brava and the main Spanish and European cities. And in combination with the railway station (6 km from Lloret de Mar) it can take you to the airport, the city of Barcelona, Girona and Figueres also. There are various boat services departing from Lloret de Mar’s main beach taking passengers by sea along the Costa Brava and calling at various destinations on route.
